‘Hooray for Fish’ is a wonderful book by the clever and vastly published Lucy Cousins – known for her books about the little white mouse ‘Maisy’.

This book is a sure favourite for many families with its charming bright illustrations and lovely lyrical wording. The story follows a little orange fishy “Little Fish” and introduces us to all their friends. We get to meet a whole range of different fish from the obvious ‘red, blue and yellow fish’ to the exotic ‘eye and sky’ fish.

This book is appealing to a vast range of children. The images are cute and creative with all sorts of fish swimming across the pages. My personal favourite is grumpy fishy.

This book is a fun story that will get the whole family reading along with some awesome Dr Seuss vibes. It is also great for young bubs with its chunky board book style.
